Reusable components give a new service a secure baseline rather than a blank page. For clients that means consistent, secure-by-default services, delivered faster.
HandleTec’s service templates and scaffolding tool provide:
- Environment-based configuration.
- Fail-closed startup, so a misconfigured service refuses to run.
- Structured logging and graceful shutdown.
- Hardened, minimal containers.
- Authentication with explicitly declared public and protected routes, checked by tests.
Alongside the templates sit public Go libraries, published under two GitHub accounts: github.com/svicknesh and github.com/handletec.
The libraries cover five groups:
- Cryptography and signing:
key,signature,kdf,dk. - Tokens and authentication:
tokenauthn,accesstoken,simpleauthn. - Identifiers:
tsid. - Clients and integration:
httpclient,pgrst,webhook,listener. - Configuration and utilities:
autoconfig,enum2str,bitmask.
